What each function changes

These functions use equipment already installed in supported vehicles. Review how each one behaves, then use Find your fit to see which options match your model, year, and headlight system.

Matrix

Segment-by-segment high-beam control that directs more light down the road without flooding detected traffic.

What changes

Rather than dropping the entire high beam, the headlight controller adjusts individual LED segments. It maintains a broad illuminated field, then creates darker zones around vehicles ahead and oncoming traffic as conditions change.

Where it is available

Requires factory Matrix LED, HD Matrix LED, Matrix LED with laser, or Digital Matrix LED headlights. Operation varies with the installed headlight assembly, front camera, software generation, and regional configuration.

Blue Laser

The blue visual signature designed into compatible Audi Matrix LED laser headlights.

What changes

Activation enables the factory blue accent element inside the headlight assembly. The result is a distinctive blue appearance at the lamp without installing or replacing lighting hardware. It does not add laser capability to a vehicle that was not built with it.

Where it is available

Only available on vehicles fitted with the supported Matrix LED with laser assembly. If the required hardware is not present, the vehicle selector will not offer this option.

Maneuver Assist

Low-speed obstacle support that can intervene when the vehicle is close to an object during parking.

What changes

The factory system uses the installed parking sensors and cameras to monitor the vehicle's path. When it detects a collision risk at maneuvering speed, supported vehicles can warn the driver and apply automatic braking; additional intervention depends on the platform. It is intended to help protect the front and rear of the vehicle in tight spaces.

Where it is available

Requires the correct parking sensor, camera, and control-module package. German Orbit currently lists it for supported pre-2023 A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, e-tron, S, RS, and related platforms; final availability is confirmed from the exact vehicle configuration.

Maneuver Light

Exterior door-handle lights that switch on in reverse to add illumination around the vehicle.

What changes

Selecting reverse turns on the supported door-handle lighting, adding light along the sides of the vehicle and within the surrounding-camera view. It can make kerbs, parking lines, and nearby objects easier to see in dark parking areas.

Where it is available

Available only where the vehicle has the required exterior handle lighting and compatible body-control software. The selector limits the option to supported A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, e-tron, S, RS, and related platforms.

Lane Light

A Digital Matrix light carpet that marks the vehicle's lane and follows supported lane changes.

What changes

Compatible Digital Matrix headlights project a defined carpet of light ahead, extending up to approximately 50 metres. The pattern stays within the driving lane and can move left or right with a supported lane change, giving the driver a clearer visual reference after dark.

Where it is available

Requires supported Digital Matrix LED hardware and the matching camera and software configuration. The selector currently offers it for compatible A8, S8, e-tron, Q8 e-tron, and SQ8 e-tron configurations.
