What does Matrix headlight activation do?

On supported Audi vehicles, Matrix activation enables adaptive lighting functions already built into the factory headlight system. The beam can maintain broader high-beam coverage while shading areas around detected traffic. No headlight replacement or physical modification is required.

Is remote software activation safe for my vehicle?

We verify the vehicle platform, headlight hardware, and current software state before making changes. Activation uses the vehicle diagnostic connection and factory-installed equipment. If the required configuration is not present, we will not proceed.

How long does a remote session take?

Most sessions take about 20 to 30 minutes once the vehicle and laptop are connected. Timing can vary with the vehicle, current software state, and selected functions. The vehicle remains parked throughout the session.

Which vehicles are compatible?

German Orbit supports selected Audi A, Q, S, RS, and e-tron models from 2019 onward, plus the Lamborghini Urus SE where listed. Availability depends on model year, headlight assembly, and factory equipment. Use Find your fit to check the options shown for your vehicle.

What equipment do I need?

You need a Windows or Mac computer, a stable internet connection, and the correct ENET or DoIP cable for your vehicle. We confirm the required cable and send connection instructions after reviewing your order.

Can the activation be returned to factory settings?

In most supported cases, the software changes can be reversed. The available procedure depends on the vehicle and its current software state, so contact us before ordering if reversibility is an important requirement.
