PDLS+ (Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus) is Porsche's branding for Matrix LED adaptive headlights. The underlying technology — individually addressable LED segments controlled by forward camera data — is the same system used in Audi Matrix LED, because both the Cayenne (92A, 9Y0) and Audi Q7/Q8 share the MLB Evo platform architecture.
In North American Cayenne deliveries, PDLS+ is present as hardware on optioned vehicles but operates in a limited mode due to the same NAR market code restriction that affects Audi Matrix activation.

Activation Process for Porsche
Because the Cayenne shares MLB Evo platform infrastructure, the ODIS activation process is structurally identical to Audi MLB Evo Matrix activation:
- OBD-II pass-through interface connection
- ODIS SE vehicle identification (Porsche PPN credentials required, different from Audi credentials)
- SFD2 authorization for Market Code change
- BCM2 parameter update: NAR → ECE
- PCM verification of PDLS+ availability in light settings
Note: Porsche uses a different ODIS authorization domain than Audi — the same ODIS software handles both, but the technician needs Porsche PPN credentials, not just Audi credentials. Ensure your activation service has Porsche authorization capability.
