S5 vs. A5: Any Difference?
No — the S5 uses the same BCM2 and SWFL architecture as the A5. The higher-performance powertrain doesn't change the lighting control architecture. S5 owners with Matrix hardware activate the same way, same cost, same result.
A5 Cabriolet Note
The Cabriolet's soft top doesn't affect the activation process. The OBD-II port location and the headlight control architecture are identical to the hardtop variants. One practical note: ensure the top is up and the car is in a stable environment during the session to avoid electrical interference from open-air conditions.
